Intel Extreme Masters Chengdu Challenge
Tomorrow (October 1st) marks the start of the next Intel Extreme Masters Global Challenge in Chengdu, China. The event will run from October 1st-3rd and feature $65,000 in prize money spread across 3 games (Counter-Strike 1.6, WarCraft 3 and DotA). Team USA Assembled
This past weekend teams/players that qualified for the WCG USA National Final 2009 squared of at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York. The best USA video game players battled it out in 10 different top title games for a total prize pot of $100,000. 20 WCG gamers earned spots on the Team USA roster for the trip to China for the WCG Grand Finals.

WCG USA National Final 2009
This Friday September 25th marks the start of the 2009 WCG USA National Finals being held in New York at the Jacob K. Javits Center. The WCG will welcome more than 150 of America's very best gamers to the WCG USA National Finals. More importantly, 20 WCG USA gold and silver medalists will earn spots on the roster for TEAM USA and the opportunity to battle the world's elite players at the WCG 2009 Grand Final taking place in Chengdu, China.

MYM Gets a Grip on Counter-Strike 1.6
It looks as if Meet Your Makers (MYM) has returned to the Counter-Strike 1.6  as they have announced their new team today. The announcement comes at a slight delay considering MYM announced their return as a gaming organization on August 18th, 2009. Intel Extreme Masters American Championship
On Thursday, September 17th Intel Extreme Masters officially announced the complete prize money distribution of the American Championship. The event looks to be taking place tentatively in November sometime (hopefully not the same time as the ESEA Season 4 Finals). A total of $72,800 divided between 3 different games is up for grabs.
